I was a little intimidated by this assignment at first because I assumed that the site would be complicated and difficult to use. I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised by its simplicity. After completing this project, I feel that Voicethread could be a useful tool for students and teachers alike. Students would be able to publish their papers for other students and teachers to see. Teachers could also quickly upload comments onto PowerPoint slides or other note documents missed in class if students are absent. Since I would like to teach middle grades students, I feel that they would be able to quickly understand this site, especially if provided the tutorial video. Overall, I really enjoyed this assignment and would like to use Voicethread for group projects so that students could adopt different roles.
